DAISY'S VIEW FROM

EPSOM SUNDAY

Sadly the excellent Adrian Massey Ratings are no more but we crack on regardless and my selections are now based on nothing more than my own knowledge (please, don't laugh).

There will not always be a selection in every event, but I will state my confidence and whether the selection is solely for placepot purposes or a place only bet using Betfair's dedicated place markets.

My thoughts for the card follow, please bear in mind this is usually written the previous night before racing takes place and therefore cannot take into account later non runners nor changes in the going etc.

Hope you all have a great day, and thanks for looking in,

any feedback is welcome via DAISY, or posted on our Guestbook, though we

may well have a chat about this on the Adrian Massey Forum too which still persists.

EPSOM MEETING

SUNDAY 25th SEPTEMBER 2011

2.00

7f

Nursery

We get off to a flying start at Epsom on Sunday with PRODUCER the pick of the Richard Hannon pair here coming back to the scene of his recent win but the 10lb rise makes thing tricky to follow up so we go with PRIDE AND JOY to cope with the weight better and make it a good day for the Osborne team.

2.30

1m 114yds

Conditions Stakes

We'll see how AMORALIST gets on in the finale at Newmarket on Saturday as this might help the form of GABRIAL'S GIFT.

MISTER MUSIC the obvious danger and likely fav, which should help make the price nice and generous for our selection.

3.00

1m 114yds

Handicap

Once raced DUBAWI SOUND is the quandry here having won his only outing at 50/1 and now thrown into handicaps off a reasonable mark could be a risk taking him on but probably best to.

At the prices we would want to be on both OUR GAL and TASFEYA to beat those at the head of the market and this looks a poor event on paper so the 8/1 for these seems right.

3.35

1m 2f 18yds

Handicap

ROMAN EAGLE has to be considered here with the Roger Varian yard in good form still and has been lightly raced including a win here.

CON ARTIST is better than his sole run this term and should also be noted in the market with Fallon on for Godolphin.

4.10

1m 4f 10yds

Handicap

THE BELLS O PEOVER comes out again quickly under a penalty and in a big field might be worth opposing at the price and the big weight.

If this race is one too many for the fav then the likely alternative SHESHA BEAR and the appropriately named EPSOM SALTS.

4.45

1m 2f 18yds

Maiden

Interesting maiden now with the Godolphin representative MONTEFELTRO of specific interest having backed him on debut where he ran green before doing best work close home to take 3rd. Interesting they come out again quickly and to a track with these undulations.

PERIOUSLY would be the big danger under Richard Hughes, but preference is for the boys in blue to get another winner at the end of the season.

5.15

7f

Handicap

Nice big 16 runner handicap for the finale, expect one or more to drop out of course, but for now we looking at a couple of the win/ place market with the race priced up at 6/1 the field.

RONDEAU is a CD winner here and dispite top weight is fancied to go close again, VALENCHA is another who is still going well and if keeping his form will surely get placed here again.

Place Pot Selections
