Quainton Road Platform 1 showing the single track goods line from Aylesbury to Calvert also used for occasional "specials". On this day no trains were in steam but the centre is open for people to look around. |
Looking across to Platforms 2 & 3. Of course Plat 2 is unused and Plat 3 is that used by the old Brill Tramway. They have laid a section of track for short trips in and out the yard. Note the impressive signal gantry very much on "display" only, as there is currently no connection between the Centre and Network Rail. |

| GWR Pannier Tank not in steam today but looked in excellent working order and likely to be used for rides up and down the yard. | No idea what this is or what it's doing here, any suggestions? | |||
As Quainton Road was not on an operational day we left and paid a visit to ARLESFORD home to the Midhants Railway (Watercress Line) and on this day there were having their "War on the Line" experience. |
